But now that the temperature has started to rise, the best time of year is right around the corner; and the season is kicking off to an electrifying start with one of Sydney’s most prestigious events. The Sydney Spring Carnival is a month-long annual racing event, lasting throughout the month of October, celebrating all things luxury.
The Scope Productions event team was engaged to work at the inaugural event this year, The Star Epsom Day at the Royal Randwick this past Saturday, October 3rd. From fashionistas to food enthusiasts, the event pleased all with its beautiful decorations, delicious meals, and exciting entertainment!
Scope’s event styling expertise ensured the room’s atmosphere matched the glamorous occasion. Equestrian centrepieces, a timeless black and white backdrop, and beautiful floral hints of green and yellow on the tables and ceiling installations livened up the occasion and were enjoyed by guests under the hot, Saturday sun.
The event brought the best out of horses, jockeys, and fashion… and its still up and running, with new events every single week! This past weekend, the City Tattersalls Cup Day took place, boasting of $150,000 Lightning Stakes and Brian Cowley Stakes, and Melbourne’s Caufield Cup being broadcast on the trackside screen. Next weekend, on October 24th, the Royal Randwick will be hosting the Men of the League Cox Plate Day, featuring former NRL legends. And on Saturday, October 31st the Derby Day will take place at the Rosehill Gardens, with guests dressed to the nines in the traditional black and white fashions.
